Observation

Staff/child ratios are not being logged in each classroom. Staff are not signing in and out of each classroom. Dispute Description: Staff Child Ratio Sign-in sheet. After speaking with the Licensor on December 22, I was informed about the Sign-in In Sheet. I informed her that I was not aware of the form and that I would type it up that day. I was told it had to be a sheet for all staff to sign in and out to keep track of their time with the children. I created a binder with the Sign In/Out Sheets to go from classroom to classroom. We have used this binder since the implementation. At the inspection on 10/24/2023, I was asked about the forms, and I showed her the book we have been using. She asked if there was one in each classroom, and I told her that the book goes around to the three classrooms when it is time for the staff to punch in and out and take their breaks. I told her I created the form based on what I was told on 12/29/2022 and that I needed her to tell me exactly how the form should look. I requested an example of the form. I want to express my deep concern about the unannounced visit and the communication with the licensor. The experience was confusing and discouraging, which left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
